Welcome to another year of The Family Unity Day in the Park.

This year, Ward 2 Councilman Zack Reed, in association with the Mt. Pleasant Community Zone will celebrate the 10th anniversary of Family Unity In The Park. This FREE event will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2013, noon to 9:30 p.m.in historic and beautiful Luke Easter Park, the largest urban park in the state of Ohio. We hope you will join us.

This year, we will again hold the largest health fair in Northeast Ohio during this one-day event. Mobile units and booths from the area's premier healthcare providers will be on hand to offer free screening services for blood pressure, diabetes and more. In addition, nationally and locally acclaimed musical artists will take center stage for a full day of soulful entertainment.

There will be families on blankets and sitting in lawn chairs, they will bring picnic baskets and grills while some eagerly sample the food of vendors. Don't miss the kiddie park for younger children, voter registration, information booths and more. Live entertainment begins at noon.
